Reviews for Cafe Toscano Aguascalientes
Review highlights
Based on 911 reviewsCafe Toscano Aguascalientes is well-regarded for its diverse breakfast offerings and quality coffee, appealing to those seeking both traditional Mexican dishes and continental options. Customers frequently highlight the freshness of ingredients and the attentive, respectful service. The café’s atmosphere and specialty coffee beverages, particularly mocha cappuccinos and unique coffee cocktails, receive consistent praise. While the food is generally appreciated, some guests note occasional inconsistencies, such as missing components in certain dishes. The cafe also caters to various dietary preferences with keto-friendly options. Although priced slightly higher than neighboring cafés, many find the overall experience and ambiance to provide good value, making it a popular choice for both casual brunches and casual dining in Condesa.
Great little cafe for coffee & breakfast/brunch (didn’t try other meals offered though). Large breakfast menu with full plates- traditional plates (molletes, chilaquiles, etc.) as well as more ‘continental’ options (omelets, scramble eggs, granola/yogurt). Delicious green juice & coffee drinks. A bit more pricey than some of the other cafés in Roma Norte, but good value for Condesa.
Wonderful service & excellent food. I really wish I knew what kind of dressing they used on the avacodo toast some sort oflime vinaigrette. Delicious! Highly recommend. Also, order a croissant. They're much better than the ones we had in Paris.
Fresh ingredients, a very respectful team, and good coffee. There was a cocktail (which I forgot the name of, but it had one shot of espresso and some fresh juice) that was too sweet for me. They offer keto options too, as per the photo. I would like to go back to this cafe for lunch or dinner; they had a variety of good-looking food options that we could see on other tables. We enjoyed the outside sidewalk terrace.
My Fiancée and I came across the location during our vacation and absolutely love it. Their Mocha Cappuccino is the best coffee we found in Mexico City, and they have delicious Chilaquiles. Amazing atmosphere and service. We’re definitely coming back during our next visit.
Nice coffee and good service but the food was a bit of a let down. The eggs Benedict came without any sauce so they offered to remove it from the bill. Maybe more of a place for drinks only.
Opt for this branch if you want a more quiet time and faster service. Everything I’ve tried is delicious, and I especially appreciate the vegetarian/vegan versions of their standard menu.
We enjoyed a nice traditional Mexican breakfast here. It was very quiet on a Tuesday morning and we enjoyed sitting on the sidewalk terrace. Service was very fast and friendly, the waitress spoke very good English. We enjoyed the food and the cappuccino was good as well. The portion size was very satisfying.
